Worship and Praise

"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." Hebrews 10:25

By gathering together in one place with other believers, we draw strength from one another as we share our faith.   We also are encouraged by  the praise and testimonials of others.  It reminds that HOPE is found in Jesus.

"If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.  Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves." Philippians 2:1-3

Music is a form of Praise to our Savior, but it is also pleasing to our ears and stirs our emotions to open our hearts. Old hymns and choruses, as well as many contemporary songs can soften the heart and open the mind to receive a message from the Word of God.

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."  Colossians 3:16

NUMBERS 6:24-26 (kjv)

"The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:

The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:

The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace."

Prayer

"Be careful for nothing, but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." Philippians 4:6

Prayer is not only a tool to petition are requests to God, but is also great way for us to draw closer to Him through giving thanks and praise for all the daily blessings He bestows on each one us.

When we totally humble ourselves before the Lord, we truly feel His unconditional LOVE and PRESENCE.  It is then that we know we are not alone.

"I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you."  John 14:18
